The crystal ball- reality , myths and divination

A forlorn stretch of the woods , birds chirping and banshees screaming and a witch with her crystal ball against the setting sun- stares into it. 
Is it just weaving scenarios? Or is there truth to every stance. Well- both! 
You see energy work and craft is also about an immersive experience for the self. The self that is seeped into divination is the self that longs to invoke power through sticks stones bones and soil . So the crystal is an extension of that immersed self! The whole experience of staring at the crystal ball is About celebrating portals beyond the tangible and known. 
On my ancestral divination altar i have placed the moonstone crystal sphere/ball as well as obsidian and others. 
The idea is that- the crystal balls while being attuned to energetic realms is also a medium for scrying, looking within and looking through! 
Remember.. if you look at the crystal ball or any form of stones as just decorative amulets or things then its just that.. so this where the seeker’s mind plays the main role, the seeker’s mind is the very aesthetic of the romantic forlorn woods , the very Charge point itself as well as the reflector! So how you use a stone for healing and for energetic purposes is all up to that fantastic mind! 
Seeking life in a stone is animism again, much like invoking the spiritual prowess of roots herbs sticks and bones. 
So the crystal ball is your realm to see and seek through. 
Placing it on your respective altar spaces accentuates and magnifies its purpose. 
So play with it. 
Sprinkle around your rose petals and blue corn flower petals around your crystal stones, burn that sage bundle. Pull a card or two. 
Keep a candle near a clear quartz ball and seek guidance from your spiritual realms. 
Crystals are also lovely offerings and gifts for your altar spaces , this in turn keeps your energetic protection and healing ever fed and nourished. 
Try staring into your crystal ball while you burn your herbs and then journal about your day, you will unearth some magnificent truths about your life :) 
After all every tool …. Be it crystals or mirrors or just the mind- is all about that journey of truth and magnanimity.
